As Sales EngineerMechanical Engineering (m/f/x) You will support projects from the initial technical idea through to design and costing, right through to implementation, working closely with our specialist departments.
With us, you’re not selling a one-size-fits-all solution. You will work with our customers to develop bespoke technical solutions and see your idea through to the finished machine or tool.
What you move with us
- They identify customer requirements and translate these into specific machine, plant and tool designs.
- They advise our national and international clients from the initial concept right through to implementation.
- They carry out costings for assemblies, tools and complete systems independently and draw up indicative quotations as well as detailed quotations.
- They carry out feasibility trials and process investigations at our technical centre and use the results to develop suitable solutions.
- They review specifications and requirements documents and coordinate technical requirements directly with our customers.
- They work closely with the design, electrical engineering, production, procurement and supplier departments.
What you bring with you
- A degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Ideally, several years’ professional experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, specialised machinery manufacturing or technical sales.
- An excellent technical understanding and a passion for developing concrete solutions based on customer requirements.
- Technical curiosity, creativity and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to work.
- Initiative, a sense of responsibility and a passion for direct customer contact.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
- Willingness to undertake regular business travel within Germany and internationally.
