Create endless joints now with 90 mm heating width! Our latest development in the field of impulse welding machines for the creation of endless joints allows a maximum heating width of 90 mm with a conveyor belt width of up to 700 mm. The impulse welding technology for thermoplastic belts is characterized by very short heating and cooling times and is therefore very efficient. The new unit complements our existing range with 45 mm heating width and 600 mm to 1200 mm conveyor belt width.

Of course, we also supply the product-specific welding tools (electrodes) to match the machines. These are modelled in the 3-D CAD programme and manufactured in-house on CNC machines. The range of RF welding tools ranges from medical pouches to heel pad welding tools.

Heelpad welding machines are one of our main products since the foundation of our company. A wide varity of machine versions are offered in the meantime. Through standardization the machines are manufactured in small series.

Short cycle time and high production capacity with minimum space requirement are offered by the two-tier table welding machines from Schirmacher. Two tables run on different levels. While one table is welding, the other can already be loaded.

Our HF sliding table welding machine B2000 has become a real “hit”, which we now produce in larger quantities. With a weld area of 750 x 550 mm and a press force of 2000kg, it is in the middle of our machine program, which includes sliding table units up to 2100 x 1400 mm table size and 50.000kg press force. Special features of the B2000 are the central HF feed for an even HF distribution, the complete shielding and the high press force and plane-parallelism. The machines are used for welding bandages and orthoses, medical bags, office supplies, organisational and technical articles.

As a specialist in plastic welding, we offer various welding processes that are used in the production of protection masks. The HF welding process in particular offers the possibility of a free seam design. At short notice we can also supply used machines to help our customers quickly

SCHIRMACHER production ongoing

By applying health and protection measurements SCHIRMACHER is keeping on production despite the current Corona crisis and is able to deliver plastic welding machines, spare parts and tools (RF electrodes) as usual.

While the R&D department and administration is working mostly from home production has been split in two shifts to gain more room for each employee.

Due to travel restrictions, service can be offered only in emergency situations. Nevertheless, our service department is available for telephone support and assistance.

As an example for textile structures this spectacular roof was recently produced during the three day Textile Roofs Workshop in Berlin. FORSSTROM had a HF tarpaulin welding machine TX500 on site. With this machines all HF seams were made. Schirmacher, the German sales and service agent of FORSSTROM, attended the workshop aswell and gave information about welding to visitors from all over the world.

The new assembly hall opened recently at our production site in Trittau near Hamburg/Germany offers additional space. With this our production area is nearly doubled to keep pace with increasing demand. Equipped with an overhead crane the new procuction facility will help us to improve efficiency and speed.

During the last year Schirmacher has implemented a new ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning). With much commitment of our employees and some extra work our production has now been switched to a new ident system. Starting in the design offices all parts are getting new item numbers which are used to process the order from production to delivery. Automated processes e.g. for procurement and manufacturing (CNC) enhance our capabilities.
